How Can I get Free First Time Central Heating?

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme in Great Britain to tackle fuel poverty and help reduce carbon emissions in the UK. Under ECO, medium and larger energy suppliers fund the installation of energy efficiency measures in British households.

Each obligated energy supplier has an overall target for CO2 reduction based on its share of the domestic energy market in Britain.The suppliers must achieve these targets are they face large penalties from central government.

Under the ECO3 scheme energy suppliers work with installers to supply and fit things which reduce the carbon footprint of a home such as loft insulation, wall insulation, or heating measures.
